Meroka37 -> RE: Joint Command: PBEM Style Command Multiplayer (3/20/2014 6:17:14 PM)

Lately I've been playing a couple of scenarios using Baloogan Joint Campaign PBEM tool, really amazing, first scenario South China Clash with 3 players (each of us taking one side) it's nearly complete with nearly 30 turns now, first turn was 2 minutes then we changed to 5 minutes each, very pleasant experience that makes you use more the mission tool instead of micromanagement. I really recommend to any player to try it!!!

Amazing!!!
MP is the only thing this program needs to make it IMHO complete! Game of the year no doubt in my mind.

ddural -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (6/13/2014 10:30:27 PM)

This looks very nice. I'd like to try this. Question? I'm ready to buy a gaming system. Any suggestions on what I'm going to need to enjoy the game. I want to buy a system where I'll have minimum or no lag time. What are you guys running?

Thanks.

Here are my stats:

Intel Core i5 760 @ 2.80 GHz
MSI P55A-G55(MS-7668)
2x2 gigs of DDR3, DRAM Freq 665.0 MHz, 9-9-9-24-74-1T made by Corsair
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 with 2 big monitors :)

Dimitris -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (6/14/2014 6:24:41 AM)

Command in general loves multiple cores, fast memory (size above 2-3GB doesn't matter much) and an SSD or other low-latency storage system for the data.

Thank you guys. Can't wait to get my new box.

Is there a list of step by step what I need to setup the Vanilla CMANO to be MP capable with Baloogan JC?

RoryAndersonCDT -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (9/22/2014 12:49:51 AM)

JC should work without any special setup.
I'd recommend using the latest public patch for Command; but I think as long as you and your opponents are using the same version of Command then you should be fine.

ETF -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (9/22/2014 7:54:25 PM)

Great thanks sir. I take it JC has an manual with the install on how to run it?

ETF -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (9/22/2014 8:07:49 PM)

http://baloogancampaign.com/command-plugins/joint-command/documentation/

Found it :)

ETF -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (9/23/2014 7:49:50 PM)

In a LAN is it possible to do your turns at the same time and then share the files and process. Or is it more like a IGOUGO for turn completion?

Thanks

RoryAndersonCDT -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (9/23/2014 10:52:37 PM)

JC is IGOUGO; though part of playing JC is setting up missions and assigning the right units the right doctrine so they react intelligently to your opponent's units.

ETF -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (9/24/2014 7:37:46 PM)

So only one player at a time can do there orders correct. < Edit Yes only one at a time>

Does JC not complete those orders in a WEGO resolution? <Yes WEGO turn resolution>

eric963 -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (12/24/2014 8:03:05 PM)

Me and a friend just started a game using joint command and are having a blast!!!

Have 2 questions for you..

1. When we have decided we are done with a match is there a way for us to remove it from the listing of game? or is this something you you have to handle?

2. Was looking at your other plugin Geostream and was wondering if you are still working on it? It we be great to see what happened during the other players time.

Thanks
Eric

magi -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (12/26/2014 7:09:59 PM)

this is very interesting.... is there voice or like team speak that works well with it..... that would be nice feature....

animalshadow -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (3/7/2015 4:13:17 PM)

Hello, thanks for Joint Command plugin. It really adds feature I wished so hard for CMANO.
But we experience some issues with last two games - at some point my opponent, when loading turn file, sees globe but don't see any unit.
He can't re-download turn file and continue game.

How we can we avoid this like issue?

Thank you and looking forward for your reply.

RoryAndersonCDT -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (3/7/2015 6:30:41 PM)

Hi animalshadow,

Sorry - its a known issue with Joint Command currently. I've been meaning to look into it and fix it for about a month now. Just been really busy!

animalshadow -> RE: MULTIPLAYER Joint Command RELEASED! (3/7/2015 7:13:35 PM)

Got it, will be waiting for a fix.
Thank you for a fast reply and you hard work on Joint Command plugin :)

How does one allow 3 players if I may ask?

Did you have to modify the scenario?

I take it Command auto updates?

RoryAndersonCDT -> RE: Joint Command: PBEM Style Command Multiplayer (5/9/2015 8:31:45 PM)

You have to choose a scenario with 3 sides, and then simply add 3 players.

Noldofinwe -> RE: Joint Command: PBEM Style Command Multiplayer (5/25/2015 1:37:47 PM)

What are some decent multiplayer scenarios? And are there more coop scenarios like Shamal?

benefant -> RE: Joint Command: Multiplayer idea (7/27/2015 10:04:02 PM)

I have the idea to play shamal 1991
with 3 players one human iraq one usn
One usaf
Some interested persons ?

RoryAndersonCDT -> RE: Joint Command: Multiplayer idea (7/28/2015 4:02:51 AM)

Tried that once, I'd recommend giving the Iraq player some more weapons to play with.

benefant -> RE: Joint Command: Multiplayer idea (9/4/2015 6:51:25 PM)

i´w like to Play some multiplayer Joint sessions
any Player available ?

ETF -> RE: Joint Command: Multiplayer idea (4/13/2016 4:33:56 PM)

Can one play a coop scenario with multiple (allied players) verses an AI bad guy?

I take it not :(

Is JC still being supported?

benefant -> RE: Joint Command: Multiplayer idea (4/14/2016 5:31:36 PM)

we should test this !

ETF -> RE: Joint Command: Multiplayer idea (4/14/2016 7:23:54 PM)

We should.....Are you on teamspeak sir?

Noldofinwe -> RE: Joint Command: Multiplayer idea (4/19/2016 7:46:14 AM)

Yes you can, unfortunately there are not many coop scenario's. What I sometimes do is in the editor, split one side into 2 and divide the assets so you can coop :)

My scenario, Med Conflict, is set up with four sides (five if you count the civilians) and should work for a multiplayer/coop game. Understand that the dominant forces are the US surface groups and Soviet Union, but NATO forces and Libya do have some firepower.

If anyone ever plays it in this manner, I would love to hear the results.

ETF -> RE: Joint Command: Multiplayer idea (4/19/2016 8:50:29 PM)

Sounds good thanks sir!
