The CW is trying to reinforce N. Africa, so sadly probably not.

Japan finally breaks across the river line in the south, with a weird no losses for anyone result.

that's a good use of Japanese tanks ... picking the blitz table to break a Chinese river line. it helps to attack with a motorised division available to take a loss. breaking down any Infantry unit into divisions can get you one.

The turn ends finally. 2 partisans show up, one in Occupied France and one in Occupied China.
The German fleet gets this upgrade.

J/F 41 starts with the allies winning initiative and going first. Typical bad weather.

keith63 -> RE: Keith's Solo AAR (12/15/2013 2:40:45 PM)

The turn starts with the allies moving first, the CW decides to flex some naval muscle moving into key areas and daring the axis to come play. Egypt is reinforced with another HQ and a white print Inf. And CW CVP's get into the fight sinking convoys in the eastern med.

The Italian subs came out to play, which with hindsight wasn't the best idea. They were both aborted and one was damaged, while all they did was abort the Repulse.

Did you notice that the upgrade will take 1 year, and cost 5 BP's? [X(]

keith63 -> RE: Keith's Solo AAR (12/15/2013 6:26:08 PM)

No actually, I didn't notice that, thanks for pointing it out.

keith63 -> RE: Keith's Solo AAR (12/18/2013 2:42:18 PM)

J/F ended without out much happening. The allies won initiative and decided to go first in M/A 40. The US entry is still low and they haven't't even geared up yet. Here is production.

Germany: pilot x2, land-2, sub 2nd phase, garrison, armor, mot, inf, art.
Italy: BB repair, ftr-2.
Japan: CA repair, CV 1st phase x2, inf x2, marine.
China: inf, pilot.
CW: pilot x3, cv 2nd phase, BB 2nd phase, nav-3, ftr-2, inf, CV 1st phase.
USA: CV 2nd phase, pilot, CV 1st phase, transport 1st phase.
USSR: pilot x2, ftr-2, lnd-2, inf x2.

CW strat bombs in Occupied France, Germany fighters contest but the bomber slips thru.

2nd impulse of the game brings worse weather. The resource hex in Greece falls, only Athens remains.

keith63 -> RE: Keith's Solo AAR (12/19/2013 12:59:10 AM)

In what may have been the shortest M/A turn i've ever seen, only 2 impulses for each side the turn ended. A partisan showed up in Yugoslavia

Symple -> RE: Keith's Solo AAR (12/22/2013 4:10:11 AM)

Such a nice AAR

Zorachus99 -> RE: Keith's Solo AAR (12/22/2013 5:19:50 PM)

Wait for that special game where the loser of initiative in Jan/Feb turn gets only 1 impulse! Less than a 10% chance of happening, but it's happened to me.
