I wish gather my scenarios in a single thread for an easy download, any new release will be posted here.

All files (except scenario 1,2 and 3) are up to the beta 1.09 and the archive extract the files in the custom 'Laska2k4' folder. Just unzip in the main installation dir.

Are you working on a hill 621 classic ASL scenario? I would like to make a hill 621 scenario. I do not want to have us duplicate our work. There are already at least 2 versions of Guards Counterattack posted here. If you are working on a hill 621 scenario..let me know...and I will work on something else.

Good news,you are working on map4.Always to avoid double work I show you my work.Are the map 5 and 3(modified for the scenario)used for Agony of Doom.
Instead of the gullys,not used in HoS,i have used the streams.
Now i must cut in six panels and do the los(the hard work).

Lovely map. Only suggestion I have is to try and remove the green line effect along the rows of woods hexes. But really lovely.

I appreciate the bmp files. However, when I load either of the two mpp files you posted (i.e. ASLbc002a+b) using the "map info" feature of the editor of the game...it shows the bmp file but doesn't load any of the terrain or LOS polygons.

All the terrain features and LOS polygons load fine when I open your scenario hill 253. Do you have any idea why this is?

this is a known problem, bmp files are only image files without any terrain info. Also 'mpp' files doesn't contain any data, only 'map' scenario files contains all information.

I also tried to load a mpp change some terrain hexes and save as mpp again but it doesn't work as I expected.

we could ask an editor improvement in this sense.


update: I loaded a stock mpp file 'city map.mpp' and it contains all the hexes with the right values, but I don't know how they make it possible.

Just played Hill 253.3 and this is a really fun scenario. I won in 8 turns in intro mode but will go back & play again & again in harder modes. Really like the map on this one as it presents some interesting fire lanes through the hills. Keep them coming and thanks you again[&o]

Loading new .mpps is fixed for the next version, I'm sorry I didn't see they busted, probably in 1.06.

now there's a lot of room for new scenarios.
Soon I'll post a link for download it.

Laska,

As soon as 1.08 comes out, I'll start making scenarios with your mpp files. You already put in all the hard work making all the polygons....so I'm not going to reinvent the wheel.
I look forward to you posting your mpp files that have more data than a simple bmp. As you know the editor just isnt working right.

Again thanks for all the work. The maps are the hardest and most time consuming...so for now I leave them up to you.

The mpps are for single-panels only - laska's large maps are best used as just .maps, either with a version with no units on it or strip all his units off if they're already there. Unless he has them all saved as individual panels as well (I might have missed that).
