Dundee votes Yes in a big way...... Overall just 6,000 votes in it after 7 of 32.

Final result expected around 2 1/2 hours. Two good wins for the No 's in East Lothian and Stirling just come through. Overall 47% - 53%

Another big win for the No's - Perth and Kinross - SNP country goes No. Very strange - I would have thought SNP territory = Scottish Independence Party would mean a big Yes vote.

I am absolutely gutted for myself...but I do have some relief in the fact that Warspite1, my mum and others (who I freely admit I didn't really take into account because I never had that British Identity) still have a union. What union that is will become apparent.

That's it the No's have won. Scotland remains part of the Union. The United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland survives. Now it's all about how the country moves on from here. But that's for later, I'm emotionally exhausted. I need an hours kip before work.....
