ORIGINAL: Lowpe I got a little worried last turn, recon spots a mess of destroyers at Seattle, so I decide to bomb them and see what they are ...bunch of AM, YO, ACMs, are now on the bottom. The KB is a little offshore and takes a milk run on Astoria's shipyard before leaving the area for parts unknown. I have two surface fleets out and about, one in striking range and not spotted. The other is off the coast of eastern Oz...there could be enemy carriers down by Sydney. Moving in India, and China and consolidating the SRA, Solomons, etc. Tojo II b just advanced; A6M5 is at 100%, A6M3a is at 90%, and the second of 7 Oscar IIa factories has repaired to 30. Looking good on the fight front. The Oscar IIa will start production very early next month...and then all 7 factories will go to the IIb. A second Nick factory flies up to Dacca in India, and third, only a chutai, is at Magwe. Only one more full sentai to fill out. Losing more planes than I would like...slow adjusting to the reduced aviation support and the more effective AA hurts. Not complaining though, as I will be relying upon AA too. I'm very curious as to how effective the KB is at hitting industry in Cali. In my experience, the CV A/C are good at hitting big targets, A/C factories, and possibly repair yards. Ignore the LI and don't worry too much about manpower fire storms. That refinery in LA looks extremely juicy. As for Vancouver, I'm not sure what it looks like on the wrong side of things, but I've never seen industry damaged below "2" when supplying the destruction. So that Cat factory at 2(2) is all the damage I would expect to see. Try direct bombing some A/C factories in Seattle to pick up a few more points. Fires are good for burning LI and HI, but inefficient at other things.
