I made my last post around 10 PM Friday evening ( East Coast US time ), and here we are Sunday afternoon, and nothing back from anyone at Matrix or from the 2 man development team. This is probably annoying to those involved, but letting the last post in your sub-forum sit unanswered for close to two days, is not a winning formula. TOAW has a built in customer base from many years ago, but you can't count on them to find your game after 12 years and buy an update after you have so surreptitiously hidden any developer updates on a routine basis. I am not blaming Ralph on this one, he is coding as best he can, and has taken on a pretty gigantic task, Matrix/Slitherine needs to either award more assets and prioritize the development of this game, or be honest with all involved and admit that it's such a low priority and disregarded income source that they won't do anything but release what gets turned over to them. Seriously, I am not a paper tiger, I purchased Victory and Glory: Napoleon and Strategic Command 3 as soon as both were available, I liked what I saw in preview videos and all the concurrent marketing. I have no regrets with either purchase, so I am left to wonder why the same professional machine is not getting behind TOAW IV. The two games I mentioned are "light" beer and pretzel style games, but TOAW IV is a bastion of the Grognard discipline. If any non- Grigsby game deserves Top-Shelf service and respect from a publisher - which other than TOAW IV?
