I just want to thank you so much mr. Fisla, for your incredible job developing a game like Tigers on the Hunt, which is, for my part, a dream come true.
I still don't have the game, but i have seen the videos,so i'm sure about what i'm saying, for my part, i repeat.
Being italian, i would be happy to see in future expansions the italian troops, as well as the japanese, the axis and allied minor nationalities.
When the gamers will be able to play in every WW2 theatre of operations, Tigers on the Hunt will definitely become the definitive WW2 tactical wargame.
Sorry for my bad english writing.

Thank you Peter Fisla, for bringing TotH to me and everyone else who play it! I have been waiting for this game, and now that I have it, and play it, I can say emphatically, THANKS!!!
And also thank you to the many modders who have made excellent mods and scenarios for TotH. And for the many interesting and informative threads in this forum!

Just bought the box version, and although I haven't played it yet it's already my favorite cpu game. [8D] Also, thanks to the guys making the MODS.

pzgndr -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (3/11/2016 4:40:06 PM)

A couple of old Squad Leader features that should be considered are: 1) machinegun penetration factor allowing them to fire on multiple target hexes along the LOS, and 2) adjacent units combining their firepower to form "fire groups." These were important. I have not seen anything about these mentioned; sorry if I missed it. So far, so good, it's a blast from the past to be able to play this again as a computer wargame with decent AI. And the SL/ASL mods are great. Thanks!!

Lannes -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (3/24/2016 3:32:35 PM)

Good game I like very much.

I hope improvements and other nations.

Thanks Peter

Stardog765 -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (3/24/2016 5:51:22 PM)

Just bought the game the other night after watching a lot of videos but what pushed me over the edge was the devs comments on this game being his labor of love and his desire to not make other games but focus his energy for years to come on making this game everything he wants it to be.
While at this stage I would not say that TotH overtakes Squad Battles as my preferred small scale tactical board-like game but it certainly could in the future with a few improvements and it certainly does some things better already. Thats enough for me to want to be a part of it.

I hope the dev continues to show the dedication that it seems he has for this game. It could be an all time classic.

If you really keep your pledges, you will have a fabulous bunch of ardent supporters [&o]; but if you go back on your word... [:-]

Just picked the game up last night, looks great! Been looking for a game that plays like Squad Leader in a real board game fashion. Thanks Peter for your passion to create this game, will be fun to see the game evolve.

mikeburskey -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (3/25/2016 10:07:51 PM)

Would love to see feature where you could rotate the map so it was horizontal not vertical.

MikeToth -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (3/25/2016 10:24:23 PM)

Thank you for such a great game AND

for naming the abbreviation used in the forums (TotH) after my last name!!...ha

Garfieldthecat -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (3/28/2016 3:40:44 AM)

Just bought this, looking forward to playing it soon. Easter sale made it an easy decision.

Thanks for spending the time making this game.

dgb100 -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (3/28/2016 2:35:40 PM)

Been waiting for this game for 35 years! I had pretty much given up on new computer games because they just never captured the fun of the old board games. Bought this yesterday, took about 30 min to figure out the interface, and played my first game with no issues. Played just like the boardgame, exactly what so many of us have wanted all these years. You did an awesome job and look forward to whatever you have in store for the future.
Thanks!

I would like having more AFVs and ordnance options, would not mind buying it as an expansion.

Especially early war vehicles for me.

ANGEL LARRAZ -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (5/14/2016 5:58:15 PM)

... oh, and nationalities!

Poles, Axis minors,...

genesismwt -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (6/8/2016 4:12:55 AM)

I would like more of the early war vehicles. The Brits are especially lacking in Matilda's, Cruisers, and their various armored cars and mg tanks.

The minor nationalities would be a nice addition.

Infantry Firepower Equivilent(IFE) would be nice. I imagine that it could be included as an ammo type, like AP, HE, Coax or Bow. It turns the gun into an MG, so why not?

Be patient, Mike, it will come...[:D]

kayeldee -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (6/17/2016 1:58:11 PM)

Pete, I personally wanted to congratulate you for a job well done, I've been chomping at the bit to play ever since I first read about it, (you'll notice I said 'read' and not played? that's because i cant get into the damned thing...every time i try, i get an error message stating that TotH doesn't support my res, even though my it's is clearly shown in the list of supported ones) well, this is your baby so I'm laying all this on your shoulders, PLEASE help me. I would hate it if this game were to become a $50.0 paperweight. So, how can I get past this error?? dont tell me to alter my configuration file, I've already done that.
PS, are there any mods or scenarios based on the excellent looking Module, Red Barricades? thanks.

and 2) adjacent units combining their firepower to form "fire groups."

I watched the fist tutorial video and I'm pretty sure that was part of it.

Paullus -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (6/17/2016 6:13:18 PM)

Sorry there were no Fire Groups in the Tutorial either. It's been added to the list of request.

I think there are some work done by the community on a Red Barricades mod. Check out the Mods and scenario forum.

I do have Stalingrad in mind for future campaign game scenarios

ParadogsGamer -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (6/18/2016 5:25:15 AM)

Red Barricades would fit this game very well

LPKreitz -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (6/18/2016 12:56:59 PM)

Great game. I believe most of us would be willing to pay for updates and improvements if that would advance the game system and make it more playable and realistic.

garymiboy -> RE: Where we are & where we are going (10/29/2016 12:28:03 PM)

Late with this as ive been away working almost since I bought the game!!.just a big thank you Peter...a great game.this is from someone who has usually had to play SL/ASL solo..but this is an absolute godsend!.so once again congratulations on making a superb game[:)]
