I think it is time for some birds. Any birds at your place?

Lots of mockingbirds around imitating every car alarm ever invented, a few robins, mourning doves, cardinals,
and the usual sparrows, starlings & pigeons. When the eggs hatch those mockingbirds will sing until around 2:30AM and then
start again around 5:00AM to teach the little ones all those car alarms [8|]

In a relative sense.

Thank you for sharing.

Seems like a real pain for the ears.

It is annoying when you're trying to get to sleep, mockingbirds are really cool to watch when they spot a cat
and strafe it. They weren't even in my area before the West Nile virus decimated the sparrow and pigeon population,
that gave them an opening that they flew into and exploited quite successfully.

But you have to admire how he has the chainsaw securely held so it will not slip when it starts!
Who knows, he might also have drained the fuel tank for safety!

I have a lot of bird activity were Iam at.
Barn swallows are back. Warblers, Vireos are moving in. Some Eastern Phoebes all ready have a nest of young. A Eastern Kingbird has been hanging out in the yard.

Indigo Buntings are numerous. Seen a few Summer Tanagers. Kingfishers are very active.

I could make bird documentary from just the yard.

BBfanboy -> RE: OT Thighs to ponder (5/7/2018 4:36:20 PM)

A brown Thrasher right?

EDIT: Cross post - your second pic IDs the bird.

I have a Brown Thrasher living in a Cedar Tree. It drives the dog crazy.

She looks pretty anemic. Better feed her some cotton candy or shrimp.

Our catcher, Yadier Molina, took a 102 mph fastball to the nuggets while catching. I'm pretty sure he was wearing a cup but he had to go into surgery and will be out for a month. He's by far the best player on the Cardinals. He's among the best the Cardinals have ever had, and that's saying a lot.

Lecivius -> RE: OT Thighs to ponder (5/7/2018 5:00:43 PM)

Nice to see you back [;)]

Zorch -> RE: OT Thighs to ponder (5/7/2018 5:05:09 PM)

I would post a graphic about how good Mr. Molina is, but it seems that Matrix's budget for storage has been used up by bird porn. [:D]
