2 areas for naval combat. Italy will decline the West Med but initiates in Biscay.

In Biscay, Germany sends a Me-109 from Bordeaux and 2 Nav to the Biscay 1-box.

CW have a number of aircraft they can bring to the show, all of which can make the 1-box. Do any fly?

Yes. CW fly the NAV2, and the two FTR2 in England, to the 0-box.

Having raised his periscope for a quick peek at what was going on, the Italian sub captain decides to head for the depths of the ocean.

Searches Axis 1, Allies 6. The Luftwaffe find the Allied shipping and decide to concentrate on those in the 4-box.

With but 2 surprise points to spend, the Axis decide to hold them back for now.

Outclassed and outnumbered, the Gladiator pilots of the Fleet Air Arm put up a sterling defence.

I'll have to check with Mayhemizer for this one, so that wraps things up for the night.

The Swordfish return to Illustrious.

AA fire is lowest 1 of 6. The RN AA gunners almost but not quite abort the Nav with rolls of 10, 7, 5, 9, 1, 7.

Axis have but a solitary A which they put on Illustrious. It emerges unscathed.
