MA43 EOT Partisan. A partisan showed up in Poland. Resources in ZOC. Lodz was open, so I placed him there - denying the Germans the use of the red factory this turn. You may change that if you wish.

Pat, I have a question on the +14 land combat next to Leningrad. Why didn't you include the two Finnish units in the attack? Being snow weren't they able to attack across the frozen lake or do I have this wrong?

End of Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. IJN Intercept Attempt. Arabian Sea.

The RN heavy cruiser Edinburgh moving at flank speed through the Arabian Sea easily avoids an IJN intercept attempt.

Asleep at the helm again.

Axis oil usage for MA43. Japan has to stop being so active.

rkr1958 -> RE: Pat vs Ronnie GW AAR (9/30/2017 12:00:03 AM)

End of Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Allied. Use Oil.

Only the US and CW had units that required oil to reorganize. The CW required 6 oil points, 3 of which they got from the USA. The USA required an additional 9 oil points, for a total of 12 used this turn. That's the bad news ...

rkr1958 -> RE: Pat vs Ronnie GW AAR (9/30/2017 12:04:36 AM)

The good news is that the allied forces in and around Australia, the Solomons and the Coral Sea are back in supply, reorganized and ready to fight!

ashkpa -> RE: Pat vs Ronnie GW AAR (9/30/2017 7:24:40 AM)

No, No, No, You have good and bad news backwards. Heavy use of allied oil is good news and having allied units re-organized is bad news. [;)]

Axis Final Production numbers:
GE: 34 factories (miss the Lodz factory due to partisan activity) producing 51 BP. 7 oil saved for making 8 oil saved on the map.
IT: All 11 factories producing for 17 BP. Saved 2 oil for a total of 3 being saved on the map.
JP: All 22 factories are producing for a total of 33 BP. 1 additional oil saved bring the on map total to 1.

Euro axis oil situation is much improved and getting better. The Japanese no longer have to use oil to keep factories producing, but have spent their reserve on keeping the active fleet organized. Probably need better control of those admirals.

Axis production is staggering. Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo must be ecstatic. Wait, here's a picture of the three discussing how to split up the world with some other fellow in the background. [:)]

End of Turn 22. Mar/Apr 1943. Factory Destruction Phase.

Desperate times for the Soviets. A lone Soviet division holds the Gronzy oil wells (2 oil RP's) while elements of that division set half the oil wells (i.e., destroys 1 oil RP) on fire before the German's can capture them.

MJ43 Japanese Reinforcements. (Note, on all three posts I edited the fly out boxes to only show reinforcement units, so there could be other units in the hex as well. I also only used the fly out boxes if there was more than one reinforcement in the hex)

MJ43 Initiative Rolls
Per directions that allies did not demand a re-roll and the axis decided to move first.

MJ43 i1 weather roll. Axis decision to move first may pay off.
I will have to stop here tonight and may not get back to this till Monday evening. Need to think hard about what to do and whether it is time to use a GE offensive chit.
