Just caught back up, I wish Matrix had a system for book marking pages, perhaps they do? Enjoying
the coverage in Burma, can you see Bhamo? Could be ripe for some parachutes? I'm curious if he

If Bhamo is the one near Myitkyina, yes I see it but I have no paratroops available/ready. I'm trying to walk the Chindits out of China but they will probably get mauled before they do that.

East of Katha is where his units were retreated to. I suspect he's trying to walk all of them out but maybe he's treating it as a salient like you say. I can't really tell.
