fogger -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (6/18/2019 12:30:31 PM)

The start of turn 339. Willie has opened two more fronts. I only have one or two more turns before I have to make up my mind if I conduct a major withdraw in the south.

The problem is that I have to impose delay for another 61 turns and the way Willie is working his way into my defensive area I am not sure I can hold on that long

I have to say "Fortress Berlin" looks absolutely amazing.

fogger -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (6/25/2019 5:54:03 AM)

Yes I just to ensure that I have enough forces to man it for the next 60 turns.

How are the battles going? What is the attrition rate for defenders and attackers?

fogger -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (6/27/2019 11:33:40 AM)

I just sent you a PM

StuccoFresco -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (6/27/2019 2:05:35 PM)

Thank you!

fogger -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (6/28/2019 11:55:56 AM)

The start of turn 342. Willie is slowly turning my northern flank. It would appear that within the next 10 turns I will have to withdraw AGN into the Berlin defensive area. The question will then be do I do the same for AGC and AGS?

Willie is off on holidays for a week. So I plan to finish this turn tomorrow night as it is now 2321hrs here. Then over the next week post a bit of detail on my losses and if I get time some screen shots from turn 1 to 198 which were on the development forum.

StuccoFresco -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/1/2019 5:59:43 AM)

Soviet artillery concentration are massively effective in any scenario: used them extensively in Kharkov and Hungary Campaign scenario, shot countless German units to pieces. The god of war indeed.

Isn't there some way the moderator can just transfer it for you? I think that's what they did with an AAR of mine.
One minute it was found in one forum and the next minute you could find it in the AAR section of another forum. If you do it yourself it will take hours. I've tried it myself.

"If you do it yourself it will take hours". Yes Larry you are correct, especially if you are a Luddite like me. I was a company director and CFO before I retired and life was so easy when I could just delegate.

fogger -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/8/2019 1:28:13 PM)

Sorry I did not post any info while Willie was a way. As well a being a Luddite I have been sick. It is winter here.

This is the start of turn 344. Willie has broken out in the north and this has/ will result in him being able to turn my northern flank. I have started to form another MLR to the north of the Berlin area. I get 3 new divisions next turn.

Can I hold on for 56 more turns?

StuccoFresco -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/8/2019 2:10:09 PM)

That was a bold move: to support a big flanking move through a single-hex supply line? Maybe they will run out of supply points before hitting the Berlin Fortress.

fogger -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/10/2019 2:05:26 PM)

Turn 345. Willie's main effort is in the south and with 55 turns to go I think he will win as there anr not 55 hexes to go and he is now advance 1 line of hexes per turn. The last time I played Willie we got to turn 38? something and it may be about the same again with this game

StuccoFresco -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/11/2019 10:33:12 AM)

I wonder how are Soviet supply levels...

Cfant -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/11/2019 12:15:47 PM)

impressive defensive perimeter around Berlin [:)] On the other hand - impressive masses of tanks on Soviet side. Eager to see how it plays out!

fogger -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/14/2019 10:52:09 PM)

Turn 346 12 October 1944. Budapest is now surrounded and fighting to the last man. Mud is starting to arrive.

Budapest was still standing, didn't expect that.

Zovs -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/15/2019 12:20:14 PM)

Well its only Oct 44 in their game. Historically Budapest did not fall till Feb 45.

fogger -> RE: FITE2 Fogger vs Loveman 1 (7/17/2019 12:20:43 PM)

The start of turn 347. Last turn Willie all but destroyed my air force. His main effort is from the south east but he is also closing in from the North. With 53 turns to go I think I have Buckley's chance of getting a draw or winning.

Aye, about 13 hexes to go and 53 turns. The math looks bad.
