No interceptions on Baltic Sea as long as CW holds Frederikshavn.

CW initiates combat (non-phasing side) if there are CPs on Baltic Sea.

Right, so following that clarification post 298 still applies.

No combat initiated in the Baltic, only the CSV.

Italy

The Italian sub is damaged (a 5 is thrown) - sorry no picture
Four CP are sunk.

The Italians have to decide whether to risk the damaged sub in another round of combat. I decide that discretion is the better part of valour and limp back to La Spezia.

Mmmm I wondered why there was no non-phasing side search (which prompted the above) but it turns out there is!.... I knew that.....[:D]

The CW cruiser is picked to try and find the Germans. The Allies roll a 5 and the Axis a 1. The Axis have 4 surprise points and they use these to reduce the enemy effect (2) and increase their own (2)

The Germans elect Gneisenau to take the hit and the Allies roll a 1, aborting her. I don't think I'm too off base to suggest the French take the destroyed hit and a 6 is thrown which does that. HMS Sheffield is then aborted (another 6 is thrown).

I abort the British ship to Fredrikshavn in line with previous instructions.

CW targets D on TRS, but it is only disorganized.

How Italian want to place their D and A?

CW will place their 2A on CA Trento and CA Trieste (if Trento is disorganized, otherwise Trento takes both A's).

Weird stuff going on with the oil. I thought I'd lost 2 Japanese oil. Turns out they were saved in Ominato..... Er why? I asked for them to be saved in Tokyo.... Oh well at least they are not lost!
