On the Australia subject, all I have to say at this point is since the Aussies were not able to successfully complete the GREAT EMU HUNT OF 1932, maybe we seek to do it for them!

It appears that I have a turn in box. Even got a call from El Presidente BigRed letting me KNOW there is a turn in my in box.

My personal bet is that this is the FORMAL SURRENDER of the Allied player!

Soooo much hype and excitement for basically NOTHING!

The Japanese arrive with a near 100 ship TF. Five BBs are embedded in the TF to help with the landing. Coming ashore are two IDs. Though they take losses, the landing is not bad. An AK is lost to a mine and another to a Sub.

The Kido Butai interposes between Anchorage and Kodiak and deals with little-to-nothing. There are several strikes with B-17s and this one by SBDs. The B-17s take real losses and the SBDs are crushed.

The rudeness and impertinence of the Americans cannot be described. Using the evil, off map Allied Aircraft procurement system devised by JuanG, Paul buys out a number of early P-38s. He tries to use them over Kodiak...

Alas...no luck as they run into a maelstrom of Japanese Sea Eagles who gobble them up and ask for more! (Not really...but it sounds good)

Kodiak, Alaska

After a hard fought battle of nearly a month, the Japanese RISING SUN flag is raised over the battered remnants of Kodiak!

BANZAI! BANZAI!! BANZAI!!!

Just as my opponent noted, it took the efforts of four fully prepped Infantry Divisions to do the work. With the landing of the 7th ID, a Japanese Shock Attack finishes resistance.

JSA: 15-1 J 1857 Cas, 20 Gun, 3 Vehicles---Allied Losses are 13,93, 353 Guns, and 420 Vehicles. A total of 15 units surrender.

Two of the four ID are already being loaded, as of yesterday, for some hard fought R&R. They will also begin prepping for a new Northern target..
