I'm 32. Started playing Napoleon with boardgames wargames at 15 and switching to PC wargames in my early twenties. I was getting fed up with PC wargames when I tried UV after watching this forum for some months. And now I'm deeply addicted. Playing only PBEM (I play maybe 40 hours against the AI just to learn the game... actually I probaly spend more time reading the forum and learn certainly more).

41. I have a lot less time now for my favorite hobby since my son was born 4 years ago, and my daughter right behind him...My WITP fix will have to be met on late nights and weekends I'm afraid. I can't wait for this game! It is amazing how consistently we seem to be in our late thirties, early 40s, though I'm really happy to see the 20-somethings in here too... Started with AH's Battle of the Bulge in '73 or '74.

29..for another 6 months at least, so I'm still hanging in there [;)] First strat game was Warship back in 86 me thinks. That was a serious thing for a 12 year old, but it was straight down my alley already then [8D] Remember how I tried to figure out those gun accuracy tables that could be found in the last pages of the manual.

I'm three months shy of 46, and have been playing wargames for 35 years. I started with AH's Afrika Korps, though I had a large stable of AH games within the first year.

My nickname in Viet Nam was 'Grandpa' and when I went to a unit reunion two years ago it was strange having 50 year olds calling me Grandpa but I will be 60 at the end of this summer. I'll also be retired by then, less than 2 months to go.

34. I've played games for as long as I can remember. For bookcase type wargames, I probably first played Rise and Decline of the Third Reich, or Airforce/Dauntless when I was around 8-10.
