TheRockSal -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/19/2005 8:59:32 PM)

Oh..it was for a different game...i was just joking that i have so many and need to straighten it all out before I get too befuddled.

TheRockSal -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/20/2005 6:20:36 PM)

Uh...should we bag this game...I still haven't received my turn from Krec?

Waiting patiently

samthesham -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/20/2005 7:33:11 PM)

Or find another Turk if necessary... we were moving along pretty well.

Guenter -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/20/2005 8:16:44 PM)

Yep, seems like we lost our Sultan.

Jordan -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/20/2005 11:44:05 PM)

Krec, where are you? You're giving us folks from the bay area an unreliable name.

Guenter -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/21/2005 8:50:33 AM)

Sent Krec a PM. He was logged in yesterday, so he should be around. Hopefully we will be able to continue soon.

MarcelJV -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 2:50:19 AM)

I sent an email yesterday and got nothing.

We have a couple of choices.

1. Either Start over.
2. See if Relagh will take over.
3. See if someone else will play turkey.

Does not matter to me.

If we add another I needed to know that you are serious about playing. It takes a long time with 8 to get one turn done, to have to change players, other than for vacations is a pain.

Ok, let me know.

Jordan -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 3:07:52 AM)

Me too. Nothing. There should be a post in this thread to list such players as a warning to others. Long day at work for me, needed to get it off my chest.

I vote we start over with Turkey and Spain on AI.

We should all remember to create a password and send it to Marcel so that when one of us does go on vacation the game can go on.

JasonOmega1 -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 3:18:36 AM)

I can play as Turkey if you need someone to fill in a role

Joram -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 3:58:32 AM)

Yeah, I wouldn't mind filling in as well if your guy doesn't come back or Omega1 doesn't work out.

samthesham -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 4:27:25 AM)

I would like an all human game but I mostly just want this to get going.

Jordan -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 5:51:37 AM)

Sounds like we've got a game again. If RockSal doesn't want to play as Spain, then maybe both of you can play.

I too want to get this thing going.

TheRockSal -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 8:10:16 AM)

I'm still Spain and still waiting for my turn!!!

JasonOmega1 -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 8:29:33 AM)

let me know if you still need a player for turkey

Guenter -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 8:45:18 AM)

I say send the files to Omega and let's get moving.
I would definitely prefer a 8 player game even though turns take longer.

MarcelJV -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 4:41:55 PM)

Sent an email to JasonOmega1 for his email address and will forward the turkey turn to him.

I am assuming that Krec has given up on our game and I have no intention of returning the turn to him.

Welcome aboard JasonOmega1. Now about our border....

JasonOmega1 -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 4:57:44 PM)

got your email.. i responded back :)

i'm about to take off for work.. but once i get back, I'll work on my turn asap

thanks again for the letting me join [:D]

Jordan -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 5:25:58 PM)

Great. We're in business. Glad to see RockSal is still with us. I was afraid we were going to lose him.

TheRockSal -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 7:09:06 PM)

Well, in my 3 PBEM games, this one has been the only one I spent time practicing my first turn and figuring out my strategies, so I aint going anywhere, except EAST.....[;)]

munited18 -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 8:00:14 PM)

All that practicing AND....

It still won't help the Spanish[:-]

[;)]

JasonOmega1 -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 8:52:48 PM)

doh still waiting for the file

Jordan -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 8:54:51 PM)

During my turn, I happened to read on the Rumor Report that certain British mercantile interests were considering opening a resort in sunny southern Spain. Interesting.

MarcelJV -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 9:46:07 PM)

When I get home I will email the Turkish turn to you JasonOmega1.

As for Spain I believe it has some wonderfull summer resorts, maybe we should all check them out.[;)]

munited18 -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 9:51:03 PM)

I would just like to go on record by saying that the rumors of British interest in Spain are not true and unfounded! We here in Britain know that our Spanish breathern have been unjustly manipulated by that short round guy in Paris and we look forward to working side by side with our valina, albeit misguided, friends on the Iberian Pennisula
Wait a minute. I have just been handed a memo...
uh, um, well this is kinda of embarrassing..
Yep, scratch that.
It looks like Spain is in DEEP TROUBLE[:D]

TheRockSal -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/22/2005 10:25:02 PM)

Ya..........I already figured those damn British were on their way...take heed, with their colonial aspirations, none of us are safe.........of course, they have to pick on the weakest meaning they are themselves weak....GIBRALTAR WILL FALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. France...get your ass down here!

MarcelJV -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/23/2005 1:32:26 AM)

Turn sent to Turkey. Good luck my boy. I hear spain is a nice place for new property investments.[;)]

Jordan -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/23/2005 2:23:39 AM)

Looks like Spain sent to France this morning....1st turn done?

JasonOmega1 -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/23/2005 3:28:23 AM)

Ok I finsihed Turkey's turn .. i'm going to send it to Spain (TheRockSal) now.. [:D]

TheRockSal -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/23/2005 8:40:01 AM)

Turn sent to France.

Guenter -> RE: PBEM NEWBIE (7/23/2005 11:15:38 AM)

How is this working now? Do we get a turn result or do we just proceed to the next turn and see what happened?
