Jeff,

Have fun with your storm. I'm just not quite shedding a tear. Still have some digging out from yesterday. -8F. and -34F. wind chill right now.

Doggie style at the Krehbiel house. He sits up and begs; she rolls over and plays dead.

We do a different kind of doggie style at our place than that.. but not as often...

Well I sure do pray your winter storm doesn't turn into a blizzard. They are kinda fun. It's that damned digging out afterwards. Fingers crossed.
Don't forget the schnapps and hot cocoa.

CB I did get an INP my first day back. Thumbs up to both of us. Gonna be a good week Tater.

Just got an email from DivePac88. He's back in the provincial hospital for some time. He's unlikely to be around for a few months at least. If you want to drop him a line by email (PM me if interested in his address), I imagine he'd appreciate the well wishes.

Talked to his brother, today; It's like the usual stuff, need to tweak this and that. Everyone (Docs and family) thinks he'll be back, but be really dopey in the meantime. His borther was chuckling about the 'no laptops' rule. His son, Daniel, is still out island, so this isn't quite as bad as it sounds.

Prayers are graciously accepted. I will stay in touch.

Ciao, JWE

Hi Guys tithe... Thanks for all the wonderful support E-mails, they really cheered me up in the white-house.

They have sent me home, after doing some ECG, heart ultrasound, and a few other tests on me. It has been to see if I was in condition for another operation, and other evil things they are planning. So I find out on Friday, if and when I go in for the Opo, and it could be as early as next week.

Now my Brother Barry tells me that John rang, thanks John and we can use Skype next time, as it's free. John was worried that I was on death's door again, but luckily I'm not. It's just that I'm so strong now, they want to have another go at killing the tumor.

Thanks again Guys, you're all good mates you are.

Didn't you get the new PC in past 1-2 years Kristian?

BTW, if you do regular BackUps you would know exactly how much "stuff" you have...

Jeff,
I just missed your call last night. Good evening of Witp-AE. How is the weather holding up down there? My daughter in Arkansas say they are expecting freezing rain. -17F. here this morning. Not bad, no wind. Finished digging out the front after work last night. It is now up to my waist at the berm so far this season. Bloody graders. At least two more months of this and then hopefully golfing and fishing.

No biggy. I had a good night of AE as well.. in my AE game started a handful of weeks ago, its Jan 14 42'...very skewed results in my favor. Historical difficulty...might need to bump it up.

Jap AC losses - 895 to allies 333

Major ship losses are Boise, Houston, and two more big pre war cruisers around Rabaul to me...they trashed a ton of ships prior to running into Jap BBs Borneo area...Force Z is still alive..she probably has 60 ships to her name..sent her on a rampage on Jap invasions in DEI...her ships are all either 80 or 75 plus exp day/night now haha....

I have noticed (as with previous AI games) that I need to remember to give the AI a break..and don't take adv of it's dumb mistakes...for example.

They've split KB into 2/3 TFs from what I can tell and sent Zuiho, Ryujo, and Maya to raid in the Ndeni, Efate, Noumea area...I had Lex, Sara, and Big E covering the reinforcements to that area...chased her around for 6 turns or so...and she kept sending AC after me, and finally ran out of bombers/torp bombers...and just had fighters...and they kept it in the area.. 4-5 hexs from Noumea...I honestly thought about letting it off of the hook, and move CVs to Auz so they didn't sink them....but, the next turn, I ran into them SE of Noumea 3 hexes...Zuiho, Ryujo, and Maya are now a fish reef...

AC losses are so skewed..but, they keep sending in wave after wave of bombers escorted by Nates...I am starting to just withdrawl in most areas instead. I think this will help to make late 42 and 43 more interesting so that I can enjoy invading their entire empire, instead of hanging onto the Philippines, which could happen.. China is fairly interesting.. I have the bulk of my forces over in the east, northest area (map wise) and have given the Japs a horrible bloddy nose over there (3-5k causalties each turn), however, they're pushing really hard in the south and west.... they haven't even pressed into Rangoon area at all...they do own all of the Solomons though.. that is why I sent major reinforcements and CVs there.. I felt that was their big push... the other half of KB is heading down through Rabaul at the moment...could be nasty for my shipping in the Noumea area.. other half is in DEI shutting down all of the major bases as usual..

We have 3" here already.. the storm is further south than expected and started earlier.. they say we're in line for 14"....I still will believe it when I see it.

I'm near the end of Feb 1944. I'm invading Port Blair. Major air battle over the invasion force with the Hornet and Yorktown near by. They managed to sink and LST and Heavily damaged two others. But the invasion went through. Ahead of schedule in New Guinea. Behind schedule in the Marshall Islands. Not for long.
