Off to Traffic Safety school for me... No turns tonight. That is what I get for going 70 in a 55 in front of a State Trooper. At least nothing will go on my record.

I made a workaround for that in just few seconds this morning... I simply disabled one JavaScript they made and WikiPedia Works just as usual... piece of cake...

Well, at least we won't have to hear how the Betty bombers were, exclusively, utilized as terror weapons against the Chinese or other wondrous fictional tales of similar vein for 24 hours.

I dunno, Schanilec-if someone is going to stick a bunch of nuclear missiles in my land, I figure the least they could do is pick up the tab on property taxes. Know what I'm sayin'?

Back from unscheduled eye doctor appointment for my 13 year old daughter. She scratched her cornea this morning while putting in her contacts. Doctor says it is really minor and should heal in a day or two. Whew... Since her school is over an hour away from my work, I will be keeping her at work today. At least she can access her assignments from the web and get her work she is missing done today.

Think I'm going to get back into AE modding. The weather certainly doesn't invite much outdoors activity.

First step: the Sidney wasn't sunk.

Hi all,

quote:

ORIGINAL: Terminus

So, according to himself, the captain of the Costa Concordia is "a hero who saved hundreds, if not thousands, of lives".

According to everybody else, he's a miserable coward who was among the first to leave his ship, ignored an order from the Italian Coast Guard to return and take charge of the evacuation and left the scene in a taxi.

Can we just keel haul this asshat?

His latest "statement":

"I only left because I fell into lifeboat when ship listed suddenly as I was trying to help"

Leo "Apollo11"

P.S.
I can't believe that he is still trying to invoke some sympathy for himself...

I haven't read this good of narrative fiction since the onset of the Iraq invasion with "Baghdad Bob". In remembrance of this fine harbinger of truth, I offer the following link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s27Oq5ot0ZI

ETA: "They killed a number of their mercenaries, wounded another number and the rest 'flew'...we pushed them and they ran away to the back."

ETA II: "They are a superpower of Al Capone".

I saw one of Comical Ali's press conferences and spent the time looking at the background, checking for US tanks rolling by.
