Hi all, quote:
ORIGINAL: Symon I'll do one last post here, because so many have asked. Physically, he's "critical, but stable". He had flat-lined for 2 minutes on the ride to the hospital. He's in Jackson in Montgomery. Physically stable, but they can't get an EEG reading. They think his brain went too long without oxygen. Alabama doctors are as good as any others, but I snagged a neurologist from Baylor to come and consult. He says there's not much hope, but we pays our dues and takes our chances. After all, just what the heck is money for, anyway. Jeanne has signed the papers saying "don't plug him in". Depending on what Dr. Mizrahi says, she may well say "pull the plug". Think Alan is lost to us, but God has done some marvelous things upon a time, but one can't count on miracles. Asking, heck begging on my knees, for one. Got an 87 year old major stroked-out mother who's seeing her children's husbands fall. Double whammy. Thanks for ya'lls concerns. Peace. Out. Ahh... I started reading posts from yesterday from the above and now I find this sad news at the bottom... Best wishes John - please take care! Leo "Apollo11"
