Just finished watching the first 10 episodes of Marco Polo from Netflix and The Weinstein Company. It was very entertaining, of course liberties "might" have been taken with what is known about Marco Polo.

Edge of Tomorrow. Quite entertaining, although I jiggered if I have a clue as to what the ending was all about

I thought Tom Cruise is starting to look old. And Emily Blunt just looked gorgeous...

To bad then that the movie did not focus on Emily Blunt instead.

I thought she featured enough to be honest. Very cute.

Popsie (what a warrior like name! ) was one of the Lancaster's that, although damaged in doing so, scored a hit on one of the Dams. She made it home too

Yes the bottom two are from Operation Chastise, the bombing of the Ruhr Dams. The top one is from an earlier mission. Operation Cloggs - an audacious bombing mission to destroy Josh's Tulip Farm.

For anyone who has ever wondered what it was like at the pointy end of being a Roman Legionnaire, this is a short Total War: Attila machinima that comes close... not quite perfect and it does end rather abruptly but certainly worth a look ...

Just watched the first episode of Peaky Blinders and it is good so far. Just that Sam Neill is in it makes me want to watch the show.

The fact that the civil war thread is coming to a close and the discussion about the best Generals during the civil war made me watch Gettysburg again.

Considering the focus on Jackson, perhaps a viewing of "God's and Generals" (the prequel to Gettysburg) might be in order as well since it covers Chancellorsville and Jackson's unfortunate death in great detail.
