We have Napoli at their home field. Sounds as tough as Lazio to me but I am not updated on Serie A.

FC Copenhagen Molde 1-1... FC Copenhagen is dominating but..... Molde ofc scored in last 10 sec of over time of teh first half. Player=Papa Doiuf or how ever its spelled. Guess which club owns him... correct FC Copenhagen that has rented him to Molde for the season...

Grumble, grumble

We lost with 4-0. We had some opportunities to score in the first half but we were way to naive in defence.

Still 0-0 in the Spurs game. I bet that does not calm your nerves.

0-0 in the end, although we had the ball in the back of the net three times . I think we were a little unfortunate. Naughton was the surprise for me - the young right-footer had an excellent game at left back but got what seems a nasty injury at the end....

Our lack of goals is concerning, but Lazio set out to play on the counter - and did it very well.

well then why didn't they do what they do in the Premiership and simply not allow loan players to play against their parent club??

I cant tell u Robert, never heard of such used outside the UK. Sounds like a good idea espeically since in overtime of 2nd half at 2-1 he had another 100% chance that he should have scored on.

Would have been highly ironic, and thx to both of u on gratz

I do not really know what to write. A firecracker or something is thrown onto the field. A player picks it up and throws it away and it explodes. Luckily no one seems hurt.

World Cup qualies tonight. Solid, if unspectacular 5-0 win for England against San Marino, but Sweden just scraped home 1-2 away to the Faroe Islands. Ireland thrashed 1-6 at home against Germany, and Scotland unlucky with a rubbish linesman's decision away to Wales.

Another important round of World Cup qualifiers coming up tonight; Poland vs England (some history there), Germany vs Sweden, Romania vs Holland, Spain vs France (all three top of the table clashes), Belgium vs Scotland, Croatia vs Wales and Portugal vs Northern Ireland are some of the tasty offerings this evening. But the really monster match; the one we have all been waiting for kicks off in just under an hour's time.... San Marino vs Moldova..

Germany has 4-0 versus Sweden but somehow we turned the match and it ended 4-4.

Awesome second half by the Swedish team.

Er.... No idea. Best result of the week was a toss up between Sweden and Northern Ireland. I'll go for the Irish simply by virtue of the quality of their goal.

Good wins for Spurs and AIK Solna last night so qualification to the next phase of the Europa League remains a possibility

Indeed. But for AIK it feels like advancement is a remote possibility. But if we get help from the other results in the group it might go our way. Impressive effort by The Spurs.
