BIG match today

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United

We lost to the Magpies on the opening day of the season but then they suffered a disastrous first half of the campaign. However their form has been revitalised by the signing of every available French footballer in the January transfer window so its going to be tres tres difficile for the Spurs today.

Fingers and everything else crossed - if we were to win we go 3rd , if we lose then Everton, Arsenal and Liverpool can really apply the pressure .

Tottenham seems to have a good season despite that they have a new coach and haven't improved the squad that much.

Hannover 96 got crushed 3:1 against some other team no one has ever heard of before, unless you are a football mercenary. Big $$'s against a small team.

Maybe 96 can turn the tables when they play at home. Hopefull wishing.

No offence intended on the Spurs performance. But I got to wonder about that goalie. It looked like he should have saved both of the goals.

I think he covered the left to right swerve as you would expect...but Bale swerved it left to...further left!!

Could be. Could be.

Or the goalie was bought. Nevermind. Just a bad joke.

You do indeed need a striker. Especially to go all the way and win the cup. But I think the transfer window is closed.

What has happened to Adebayor? Is he missing Van Der Vaart and Modric in terms of service or his he just not bothered?

Another pitiful performance....
