Based on my initial sociological studies of Sunset Beach, California (just north of Huntington Beach), EVERYONE that lives there is a severe alcoholic. Well, statistically it is 96.5% +/- 2.3% with a 2 SD confidence interval.

Emphasis on the words 'standard deviation'.

Yes, I was wondering if that meant the rates of alcoholism are different for LGBTQ and generic all inclusive brain genders. We should ask Cap if any of them were hitting on him at that bar ...

No, I was thinking mathematical deviation. One bar serving non-alcoholic drinks could really pull the average rate of alcoholics down.

Remember when Bart called Moe's bar and asked for Al Coholic?

I also earned the magic 500 pts per day Burma Road dealie only works if you have Bangkok and everything up to Tsuyung. The supply that is flowing is therefore by standard rules

Having a clear road from Rangoon to Tsuyung is all that is necessary. The Bangkok-Rangoon portion has been interdicted by the dirt roads endemic to the area, and a stretch of jungle from Chang Mai to Pegu if you take the rail line to its terminus.

Oh, right I meant Rangoon not Bangkok.

I think perhaps you are confusing Laguna Beach with Sunset Beach.

What about Venice Beach? I thought that was the place to be for (whatever 'those' people are supposed to be called these days).

Venice Beach is a weird mix of stoners, skaters, body-builders, IT millenial types, homeless schizophrenics and tourists.

Laguna Beach is the gay scene, artists, hare krishnas, homeless, really rich people, fantastically good looking and expensive to maintain women, better informed tourists

Are there any 'normal' people in S. Cal.? Don't answer that...

I spent a lot of time in Huntington Beach before the end of the shuttle program. They seemed normal. Also I miss Inn N' Out burger.

Yes, Huntington has a broad mix of people. Definitely more egalitarian than Newport or Laguna. Pretty rowdy place at night. The bouncers actually look like bouncers and nobody wears a tux. You don't see as many homeless dudes at Huntington. I think it's the city council.

So Pocahontas Girl came over the other day and announced that her ex had an 8 year old daughter he hid from her. It seems he would banish the girl to her grandparents when his kids with PG came over for the weekend. This was discovered because there was a locked room at the other house and his youngest son stuck a spy camera under the door and saw a pink room.

I used to try to defend the guy but Sweet Baby Jesus! There is a picture of the newly discovered half-sibs together. It's very beautiful.

The other good news is she stayed over and my love seat does NOT have a new wet spot! Also , she cleaned out the left-over homemade blackeberry whirl ice cream I made in 2018!

Does Bloody Mary mix count as a vegetable serving? I ran out of tonic and I don't feel like going to the store.

I have this stuff called Zing Zang. I think that is actually the CO of 32nd Army in Chungking. He's only a 42 on land combat but the guy can mix a drink I'll tell you.

Actually it's not as bad as it looks. I think every damaged plane got hit 4 or 5 times. Runway is toast however. The F4F squadron now has a morale of 14.

The combat text was a bit on the histrionic side.

Actual ground losses, 3 F4F, 2 SBD's, 1 P-40K...but the damaged planes are vulnerable. I find it is better to send the pilots of the damaged planes back to reserve otherwise they annoy the crap out of the ground crews

That was the main deal from Jan 8. Mikuma got out of range from the TBF's at Dobo, 200 miles to the South.

The last bomb crater at Boela was repaired and then the air raid siren went off during the reopening ceremony. 60 Netties from Kendari again. No planes on our side.

I sent the surviving SBD's and P-40K's to Taberfane and formed two SCTF's to guard Taberfane. The Japs did not show up.

They did raid Roti over by Kopepang...brand new level 5 AF 117 Netty sorties. Kendari is a non-moving death star with > 100 fighters and >120 bombers.

77th LARP Brigade invades Cambodia. Don't say anything. The Royal Thai Army Regt at Udon was trying to cross the Mekong. An international incident is avoided. Technically, we did not have permission either but nobody can be angry at men in Teddy Bear suits and the like. This is the highway to Bien Hoa and Saigon.
