ORIGINAL: Flaviusx Never mind VPs(which seem to be off, anyways.) Speaking personally, I'm just glad somebody has figured out a way to gain traction on Pelton who has until now shut down everybody else, hard. If you can get anything resembling a historical outcome I call that a win for the allies. I screwed up unlike my other games. This one I desided to see how far forward I could defend and lost 1 GD, 1 ParaD and 2 regiments. This does not sound like much, but because of those units I was unable to defend all 4 of the key hexes near Rome only 3 with good CV. The 1 para division was what I was missing on that flank on the other the GD division would have been part of the assaults, which again does not sound like much but it is huge on this small scale - unlike WitE. A few lost divisions causes the manpower crunch and the old snowball starts rolling. Bad moves on my part and good moves on his. Unlike WitE, WitW the WA's can only take what the GHC gives them. That very well could have made the difference. There was one attack you made that another PG would have tipped it in your favor I think.
