However, while the wimpyness or otherwise of din dins was debated, AllenK settled down to etranches du belly de porc, haricots francais et pomme de terre nouveau avec du beurre.

I think I prefer being a wimp .

And the searching proved in vain in the Italian Coast also 7 (Allies) 9 (Axis).

In the Western Mediterranean the French attempt to find the Italian convoys, whilst avoiding the distant escort.

May I suggest that you terminate MWIF and reload the save and recreate the first few sea areas? Before things gets complicated. Just to see if US then can activate in the last sea area.

I'll do the last one first and see if that clears it.

Do the Axis want to bring in a fighter from Spain? I don't believe there are any units the Allies can bring in.

With throws of 5 (Allies) and 7 (Axis) there is no combat here either.

Finally we come back to the South China Sea and hope that this now works - and it does! Weird....

Do the Commonwealth want to unleash Whitley Houston (from Singapore) on the Japanese?

Well with throws of 9 (Allies) and 6 (Axis) there is nothing doing here either.

And so ends a rather disappointing round of naval searches.....

East Med.

The Italians don't add any air. CW can fly a Hurricane up to the 1-box if they wish?

Searches: Axis 5, Allies 10. No combat.

In CSV, the FTR initiates combat and the Italians add a further NAV to the 2-box.

Allies can add a variety of aircraft. F2A and Harrow can make the 2-box, the rest the 1-box.

Nothing here - but later will increase naval combat by one column and decrease your combat column by one. Thank-you.

Having surfaced in the middle of the RN task force, the Italian sub skipper won't be repeating that mistake.

No damage to Allies.

Round 2

I presume Allies stay and no additional air is flown. Searches: Axis 10, Allies 9. No combat.

Bay of Biscay

The Italian NAV initiates combat. Germany and Italy each add a further NAV. Do the Allies wish to add anything? US also has a NAV available with same range as SKua (and in same hex).

The sub stays deep.

Searches: Axis 1, Allies 10.

After an uneventful first round, an Axis bomber sneaks through. CW get to choose.
