Finally the French appear to be resorting to some sort of fisting approach.....

Anyway, I've sent an e-mail to Harry (hopefully he will provide a definitive answer).

Part of me hopes the Allies interpretation is right - but mostly I hope the game has been coded as per the rules. Bad news for the Allies - but good for MWIF

i think here the trouble is poland initiate combat not UK: this is a poland action, as poland is not conquered, so are poland ship not yet CW, to wich Royal navy partecipate.

and as you have direct line with harry, can i send a pm with same Raw question that every time are discussed in our board game group?
warspite1

Hi quiritus. I was just reading back over the last impulse and came across your post. I wasn't ignoring you!

I don't have a hotline to Harry. I e-mailed him once about something and he was quick to respond - I have therefore taken the opportunity from time to time to e-mail about various things ADG. When this query came up I did the same.

You may want to speak to one of the grogs on the forum - paulderynck in particular - who may know the correct procedure for asking about rules questions. I think I am right in saying that he gets clarification of rules for the development team from time to time.

No hurry. I will be away from the computer for a couple of hours. And if you do any DOWs I would like to be part of the set up process.

Is Italy going to declare war?

Or Japan?

----

I'll post pictures shortly on the Netherlands and Danish set up. But I reserve the possibility to change the setup if Japan or Italy makes any declarations of war on Minor countries.

Amid fanfares of trumpets, accompanied by stirring military music and a fly-past, El Duce Supremo emerges onto his balcony to announce to the carefully stage-managed adoring crowd ...

Is'a time to ridda da world of'a da British an'a da French Imperial Colonialism. From dis'a mommento we make'a da war which will carry da peoples of Italia to da long'a foretold victory.

The peace-loving Divine Emperor decides Japan has enough going on at the moment and refrains from contributing further discord to an already troubled world.

If Allies can do all their set-ups and US entry rolls and send back to me for placement of the Italian reserves, thanks.

Only Denmark and Netherlands to set up. Right?

If so, then you can roll for US entry and place the units (as previously posted). Is that ok?

Fine with me. I'll try and cover up the US Entry Pool if the Italian DoW triggers a chit.

Highly offended by his terrible use of pigeon English, the American people start demanding "something must be done about this Italian clown". A 6 sees an entry chit added to the Ge/It pool.

It proves a useful distraction in the press as the German declarations of war on Denmark and the Netherlands go largely unnoticed (5 and 10 rolled).

Italy following deployment of reserves.

S/O 39 Axis 3

Germany Land. Italy and Japan Combined.

Italians send a Ftr to West Med 2-box and their Nav to West Med 4-box.

Japanese transports and a CA take an Inf, a Mil and an Eng from Yokohama to Shanghai. Two more transports take Yamamoto and an Inf to Haichow.

The majority of the Italian fleet; 2 BB and 10 CA (one loaded wth an Inf Div) sorties into the West Med. I decline the itercept as it's pretty obvious they are planning on staying there. They stop in the 4-box.

Two areas for naval combat.

Cape St. Vincent.

Searches Axis 2, Allies 9. 11 surprise points. Axis choose sub combat and use 2 to reduce losses from D to A. The rest are used to increase damage.

The escorts see the submarine off....

How do the Allies wish to split the damage between the French and CW CP's?
