Nothing happening. But, you do have to wonder about those Aussie Coastwatchers

Coastwatcher Report: harbor at Rabaul is reported empty

Coastwatcher Report: DD Kosugiri reported in port at Rabaul

AK Titania made it to Auckland and will spend 23 days in the shipyard repairing her hull and
learning how to avoid mines in the future.

Sending bombers on ground attack when the troops aren't sitting in a clear hex is a waste in 99.9% of the time. He would be even better off bombing the base hoping to at least destroy some supplies but as the Allied, who cares about supplies?

I agree CT, even Allied B-24s have a hard time doing much on ground attack in non clear terrain. so Sallys are not going to do much.

More bombing at Cox's Bazaar. My BF is still at 4 days travel time, AA unit is 6 days out.

This seems interesting, I would think that Japan would want
their air HQs closer to the front.

Yes, they did good. The biggest problem with P-38Es is that they have
a service rating of 4, so they spend a lot of time repairing. The F model
will help some with a SR of 3.

I lost 2 small xAPs and three small xAKLs
and of course some men and equipment from an Aussie
Brigade.

I will send everything back to Australia and wait for KB to get
tired and leave.

Now something to think about, I have 60 B-17Es at Port Moresby and
they have pilots trained to 70 LowN and GrnB. Do I send them to try
and hit KB? Or do I not?

To answer my own question I guess not. We do not have any house rules
but in our discord chat he did have this to say
Xargun — 08/28/2021
I am used to B-17 bombing my amphibs 🙂 Just as long as they stay above the line where the chance to hit goes way off... so I guess I should not send my B-17Es
in at 1000 feet.

===============================
He again did some minor bombing at Cox's Bazaar. I now have a large BF there with AA weapons.
That should slow his bombing a bit.
