Update: Guam, Menado and Balikpapan have fallen to allied forces. Balikpapan was attacked overland with forces from Samarinda. Large stores of oil and resources captured intact.
Menado falls to airborne assault. Guam is still defended by enemy forces but the airfield and port are in allied hands. Not wasting any time, B29 bombers have been staged in Guam, and the first air raid over continental Japan is carried out. With instructions to attack the manpower resources of Japan, the B29s flew their first mission.
