April 3rd. I will spare you the AAR.Not much activity today. A tentative attack in Chungking failed to dislodge the Japanese, so I guess it will be a long battle for the city; Lae seems to be out of comission. No Jap flights rise to meet my bombers

April 7th. More of the same.
4 offenssive operations, code named A, B, C, and D are being planned. A should take off within a few days, B should be ready to go in 1-2 weeks and C and D should follow within 4-5 weeks.

With "Standing Coconut" in full swing at Amboina, a Destroyer task force raids Kwajalein, quite successfully.
The war of attrition has moved from Lae to Rabaul, where allied air forces are punishing the Sons of Heaven quite forcefully.
