if you are hidden from the sun and still have 32-34 C temperature ..... I call this too hot
especially i played football in full sun yesterday and it is quite difficult

For australians central europe is a place where white bears walk :-)

Ha ! 32-34 C is perfect weather.......it's when it starts getting to 43-45 that it gets "difficult". You are too soft.

...Perth
30+ units spotted by 2-day recon from glens- few months of heavy activity of transport convoys south of Perth
numerous radio transmisions in area
so timor/java area will be under fire - maybe even soon

Can you show a screen shot of the engineering units that you have there? What is happening to them "before and after"? Have you checked their leaders?

BTW - have you been certain to check that none of your LCU leaders have become "WOs" or some non-LCU leader? You may also want to look at the Game's ratings for the leaders. If you have a lot of leaders who are rated as "Best as Rear Area Commander" you should change them leaders rated as "Best Suited for Assualt Units".

Good luck -

Dave Baranyi

i'm sorry but only short notice
I'm too pissed to post anything more
ground combat makes me #%@&@$#$ !!!!!
I did everything ok - even asked Mogami for consultation - sent him my savegame
redeployed HQs
rested troops at changsha
when i noticed all is ready i pull trigger to see:

Ground combat at Chungking

Japanese Deliberate attack

Attacking force 766715 troops, 8173 guns, 1183 vehicles, Assault Value = 15306

Defending force 223671 troops, 0 guns, 0 vehicles, Assault Value = 7002

Japanese max assault: 15130 - adjusted assault: 4975

Allied max defense: 6117 - adjusted defense: 5325

Japanese assault odds: 0 to 1 (fort level 3)

Japanese ground losses:
51461 casualties reported
Guns lost 1159
Vehicles lost 35

Allied ground losses:
4464 casualties reported

So, enemy AV is + 330 and your is down by 412 from your last attack...

chinase troops grow in numbers / but not unit numbers/- i don't see supply - air bombardment rarely scores supply hit and from my experiance it is corellated with its abundance - somehow they got reinforcements
about my AV - i could rest 2-3 more days - same result - i expected major improvment as supply was suspected to be problem earlier
AdavidB
eng units were more or less fine  - 30 AV avg each and max engineers squads
there is no random leader - all was checked earlier

there are moments i feel weird - i really hate game which i devote so many hours per day
i think Nemo is specialist so could write sth about it

for Matrix it is not a problem - no reaction from them / i doubt if even they understand this mechanism and it is more convinient not to check what can be  a very deep hole
Mogami goes off topic each time you start disscussion and many other players as well
As far as i know Raverdave doesn't understand chungking combat too

too many resources devoted to this operation just to abandon it
ground combat in china basicly screwed my game in asia

Look at the unmodified Assault Value it went from 7002 to 7061. So yes the Chinese are getting stronger.

Ignore the modified Assault Values there are too many variables to measure strength by looking at the modified Assault Value for any one or two battles.

My guess is that you killed a unit and it returned to Chungking at 1/3 strength.

Are all of the Chinese units in Chungking?

Really stupid question but you have pushed Raver back far enough that he cannot air drop supplies from B24's into Chungking ?

Allied max AV has risen while troop numbers have dropped 223k & 6117 v 220k and 6187 looks like those respawn 35xp chinese corps are gaining XP.....you kill a few but the ones that are left get better. Survival of the fittest
