Hi .Sirius

Trouble with the tin cans of United States Navy!!!!

USS Allen M. Sumner (DD-692) Class and USS Gearing (DD-710) Class
are mixed in a new unknown destroyer class (see pictures below )
I shall be more happy with names like this:

DD-710 Gearing FRAM 2 Class--United States (navy) etc.

O-1 and O-2 aircraft need a couple weapons.... O-2 in particular could go with a minigun pod, LAU-59 seven-round rocket pod, or even a small bomb load. Most common (I think) was WP rockets for target marking in the FAC role.

Suggestions for both the CWDB and the DB3000. These will probably be fairly easy to add, so I hope they can be added sooner rather than later…

High Value Target (Group) (Generic) <-- this is basically an unarmed group of people on foot. It can probably be modeled using the data for an infantry platoon, but taking out the weapons, radios, etc. (I suggested “Civilians” earlier, but this would be even more general; one could use it to represent ANY group of unarmed individuals, even a herd of sheep, if one wanted. Hey, it’s high-value to the guy who owns the sheep!) This would allow for refugees, hostages, zoo animals, etc. All you have to do is set the name with the "r" command.

High Value Target (Individual) (Generic) <-- Just use the downed pilot, but take out the radio. This allows one to represent high value unarmed individual targets on foot who really is on his own or dependent on others for protection. They can be good guys (VIPs, etc.) who need to be protected or bad guys (terrorists, drug lords, etc.) who need to be taken out. All you have to do is set the name with the "r" command.

Hi .Sirius
Just found a funny ship from US navy (picture below)

First of all i don't think it is an America ship.It is a former US ship.

USS Absecon (AVP-23) (1943 - 1949)
USCGC Absecon (WAVP-374) (1949 - 1966)

transferred to South Vietnam 15 June 1972,and renamed RVNS Pham Ngu Lao (HQ-15),
captured by North Vietnam May 1975 and renamed PRVNS Pham Ngu Lao (HQ-1)
http://www.navsource.org/archives/09/43/4323.htm

If we look at the date may 1975- This is a North Vietnamese ship.

Hey Sirius, I'm working on an October 1944 3rd Fleet Import, which is 95% complete, however the ships below are not in the database. Could you add them to your list?

1. Northampton Class Heavy Cruiser - http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ship/ca-26.htm
2. Pensacola Class Heavy Cruiser - http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ship/ca-24.htm
3. New Orleans Class Heavy Cruiser - http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ship/ca-32.htm
4. USS Wichita (CA-45) - http://www.navsource.org/archives/04/045/04045.htm
5. Bagley Class Destroyer - http://destroyerhistory.org/goldplater/bagleyclass/
6. Gridley Class Destroyer - http://destroyerhistory.org/goldplater/gridleyclass/

Additional note: The South Dakota Class Battleships and the North Carolina Class battleships are in the database, but there are no WWII versions, so I'm using the post 1947 reserve versions until they are added.

Thanks,
Dandin
