ORIGINAL: Marc Schwanebeck Did you watch the game actually [&:], I mean how can you say they did not deserve to be that lucky after playing 20 minutes on one goal? Poland was dead in the water from the 65 minute on (and even more after Sobolewski was sent of the field) and the german pressure was increasing from minute to minute. Not one shot on the german goal after that, the last dangerous shot was in the 57 (!) minute. If one was lucky then I would say Poland that they did not got more goals [;)]. Yeah, I saw it, and any team that wins a game 1 - 0 on a goal scored in the 92nd minute is lucky. As you say, they were blitzing the Polish goal for the last 20 - 25 minutes, but failed to score on any one of a very large number of chances. Considering how badly they played in the first half, they didn't deserve to be that lucky.
