So how does Lewis sum up his thoughts on the Mercedes after the first F1 test session? "We have some work to do but it doesn't feel like a disaster." What he really meant "The car is rubbish, I need more arodynamic downforce, but above all, I wish I hadn't left McLaren but I need to sound positive". Oh dear.....[:(]

Sorry about my fast finger typing on that [:D] Second round of testing is starting soon, I think if Lotus shows it form like the first round they will be the team to beat this year [X(]. And I thought Pirelli were suppose to have more compounds of tires this year, its the same as last?!?

Hopefully this will clarify things a bit more.

I'm really looking forward to this season, my son is a designer on the McLaren car so should get some good insights and information as the season progresses. Learnt more about Formula One cars in this last year than I did from the previous 40+ years following the sport.

Well, I will not have this thread in the second page while F1 is relevat...which just happens to be 10 months out of the year...LOL. I don't know...its a toss up with the second testing session. Lewis did well, but so did Alonso and Lotus.
