ORIGINAL: SqzMyLemon Hi larry, You're getting lots of good advice now and things seem to be improving so I'll add just one more thing before going back to just observing things. The Home Islands need about 100k of resources daily so the fact that Tokyo is chronically short of resources tells me you are still not getting enough resources to Japan in the numbers you need. I understand why you are shipping directly to Tokyo, but you don't need to. Once you get over 100k getting into Japan daily the resources will flow to Tokyo and other high HI production centres automatically. 100K resources is a lot but Hokodate ( sp? ) is close and Fusan is close........maybe I can pull that off. I'd rather not ship directly to Tokyo if I don't have to. All your verbage sounds good. Thanks. You really think things are improving? Sounds great. quote:
ORIGINAL: SqzMyLemon One other option in the short term is turn off some LI in the Home Islands. You're swimming in supply in Japan so you could reduce some LI to conserve resources for the HI. I wouldn't do this though as it doesn't solve the main issue, that being not enough resources getting to the Home Islands. I think maybe I can do both things.......turn down the LI to save resources, and ship more resources to the Home Islands. Got it. quote:
ORIGINAL: SqzMyLemon Once you get your merchant fleet better organized you'll see a huge difference. Things are improving though so good job getting things turned around. That's one of the problems......I'm unorganized at the moment. My TF's are a hodge podge of ships, those available at the time the TF leaves port. I'm going to have to get faster escorts so my TF's sail faster. I'd hate to try it w/o escorts.
