ORIGINAL: dlazov66 Larry, I am also "play-testing' this solo, as the Allies, I am only on turn 10 (7/19/43) though and still fighting it out in Sicily. How do you like it so far? Pretty snazzy huh? This is one of the more fun-er scenarios. What's fun is to cut off the supply to your enemy and watch them disappear when you attack them. quote:
ORIGINAL: dlazov66 My status to date are: Still two hexes short of Arrigento, have captured Caltanissetta, Enna, Gerbini and Adrano and have isolated Catania Pictures, we want to see pictures. In fact why don't you do an AAR so I can follow your progress. quote:
ORIGINAL: dlazov66 By the way in the advanced game options what is the SitRep on/off button used for (been 10 years since I played this game, and just reinstalled and updated last year). Um.........when your opponent attacks you on his turn ( or when the AI attacks you on it's turn ) your opponent gets to see the combat results but you don't. That seemed unfair to Ralph so he added what are called SitRep logs to the output of TOAW when the SitRep button is turned on. You can use these records in a spreadsheet program to see what the losses were. As it happens *I* wrote a small C++ program to read the CSV files ( from the SitRep output ) and output an HTML file that represents the combat results as we see them in the game. This HTML file can have animation in it or sound effects or whatever a web page has. It's relatively simple right now but I was thinking about maybe dressing it up and releasing a new version. Talk me into it. [image]local://upfiles/16287/D46388517C7B4FD3824A426442CA8380.gif[/image]
