Well, the first of 26 cousins (on my parents side) had this fantastic wedding in Sun Valley at a massive home on the Big Wood. Fantastic band, scotch and cigar bar, rivers of alkyhol.

I'm afraid the gauntlet has been thrown. She is the second cousin to "fall". The arms race is on.

You are entering an unmapped minefield, without the benefit of a mine detector.

Move carefully through that.

The arms race of the Cold War bankrupted one side (The Soviets) and created a lot of (political) dissent on the other side (United States).

The only factor that may work to your benefit is timing.

The cost of each wedding will likely escalate, in the effort to one-up to previous one.
Try to get "your" wedding in earlier rather than later, so as not to be caught in the ever increasing costs.
Either that or see if you can schedule "your" wedding immediately after the wedding your Cousin Eddie throws.

[image]http://bubba.org/nlcv/images/eddie_shitter.jpg[/image]

Even if yours does not match up to some of the prior weddings, it will look good in comparison with the most recent one. [;)]

FAM: So tell me why you are having trouble eating breakfast.

Sullen 14 year old: Well, on Tuesday I have zero period. It starts at 6:45 so I have to get up at 5:45. It's cold so I can't do my hair.....

<now, so far he is making a pretty good case because 5:45 is torture for a 14 year old....and doing hsi hair might seem trivial to us but not a 14 year old.......but he has a hole card he hasn't played yet..he continues>

<a squadron of PB4Y are being armed each with a dozen angry looking 5.25 inch rockets. A crate is stenciled "M&MAR--M&M Aircraft Rockets--DO NOT DROP IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOU">

Extremely confident young sergeant in nicely pressed uniform: ....right, so we recommend a glide attack at 30 degree from 1000 ft and when the reticule lines up you let them go..provided you are in range.

Pilot: How do we know we are in range.

Extremely confident young sergeant in nicely pressed uniform: Right, if you take blast or shrapnel damage from your weapons then you were too close. Any other questions?....Good, now remember those golf course lots for any crew that achieve more than 30% hits.
