you have to bomb it for several weeks with very large bombing raids if you want to knock it out for supply. The Russians can counter this with massive AA and fighter concentrations...lots of AA guns will reduce the damage the Luftwaffe does significantly.

That makes sense... ;)
The other problem is that the higher the port level the harder to inflict damage.

For the forum ..”large” is relative in WITE. There are economies of scale. 300 level bombers do not tend to get scaled results compared to 200 level bombers. There is a right mix that provides a maximum effect given a sortie.

the issue would be that you need to do maximum damage in a limited number of raids per turn due to air attack limits...so if you launch a small raid that is stopped you waste an entire week of bombing basically.
