Michael is best at figuring the research out but I would lean towards the 6x30 as the option. George is it for your LBA Naval Fighters so you definitely need it ASAP.

Further thoughts on economic stuff:

1. Bump Naval Shipyards about 100 points. Will still need to pause some builds but it should work to get the initial IJN ships produced.
2. I think armaments looks pretty good. Leave alone.
3. Vehicles is decent to start with but I say bump it about 50-75 for the fighting to come.

Really feel the lack of supply and fuel in the Home Islands. I have taken very little out since Dec 7th and the totals are growing but not very quickly. Be VERY careful to not expand too much with engines and airframes.

For R&D, you will need a minimum of 4x30 to get any forward progress. For what you are going to hang your hat on, Franks, you will need 8x30. It seems to be common for your most important fighters to have those 8 factories devoted to them.
Which late war fighters get that devotion?? Shinden? Ki-94? Ki-93? Ki-83? Maybe one or two of these.
Mid-war fighters: Frank, Tony (Ki-100), George, Randy 102c (NF), Sam.
Lots of decisions to be made in the first 60 days of the war.

Are these three 16th Ku T-1, 17th Ku T-1, and 18th Ku T-1 renamed? If so, they have slightly higher stats.

I think float plane air groups should be left as they are. A few have minor increases in Exp and/or NavS, but the four more experienced groups were toned down, so it balances out. The only thing that ought to be fixed, I think, is the detachments onboard the AMCs.

I think that is it. I may have missed a number of things, so perhaps someone else should double check.

Have a query for any of the Japanese Players: My BC Ishitaka shows her secondary 12.7 secondaries in RED. Does anyone else see this?

That would be because the class record shows 8 left and 8 right, but the ship record only shows 6 left and 6 right.

I found a problem. There is updated artwork on the RA site, but if you try to use it the scenario will not load. It starts and then just quits to desktop. The Liz and Rita art are in the updated files, you just can not use them.

CL Teshio is a reinforcement due at Port Arthur but will not appear. It just sits in the list. Any ideas? Could it be because of a supply issue?....GP

Game Plan.

I have a bunch of work to do doing little and big things (Thanks Jorge!). My goal will be to do a next-to-last Mod Update by Sunday Night. Say we playtest another week or so and then do a final release and call it good.

Once the release is done, I will shift over to tracking down and placing ALL the ship and plane artwork into their own folders. That should fix another annoying problem.

If anyone has had issues and hasn't Posted here, please do.

Just wrote the Teshio down to look at. I got her without issue. Pretty strange. Is it in the reinforcement cue and not arriving I assume? Could you screenshot? Which Scenario are you playing?

Supply is now horrific in the Home Isles. This is why I waited two weeks of turns before starting changes in the economy. During that time I didn't pull ANY supply out of the Home Islands. HI appears to be OK but supply is big.

Just wondering Brian, your Naval Shipyards are producing 1595 points but the estimate is 3762. Maybe when it gets to Teshio there are not enough NS points available.

Brian - Halt ALL your sub building that you can. That should quickly give you a boost in available points. Don't forget that those points are used first for the lowest ID of ships. So, CVs and then BBs will gobble up the points before it gets to CLs. Once you start getting some surplus built up, turn on those that are closest to completion. FYI - three subs use up the same number of points as a heavy CV. [X(]

This is what I do, and I have had no need to increase naval shipyards. That allows for REPAIR shipyards to be built up.


I shut off subs last turn. It was a hunch on my part. But it is good to get some positive input on this. I'll post next turn(Tomorrow) what it looks like....GP
