Thought I'd start this thread as a place to post up real life pilots for BTR (as of 17Aug43) and BoB (not sure of proposed start date for that as of yet). Try and include their actual rank and number of kills (if known) for the relevant start dates or later date for units arriving later on. Here is my 1st installment Data is correct for 17Aug43 (unless otherwise stated). Many will already be in as I sent lots of data to JC. Names may have spelling erros, books, transferring, or plain missing the keys, see any of those I will correct Unit placements is based on books and docs, they may of moved, or changed from the time I see the info I think I got to disagree with the idea that anybody not in the game as of Aug 17th does not get in by that thinking, the 20th FG, the 55th FG, the 357th FG, JV44, JG52 should all have AI pilots, since they not in the game from Aug 17th ?

If you look at the list of Allied pilots I sent you (I presume you haven't bothered from your above statement) which includes the 55FG (I didn't get round 20FG or 357FG but did for many other later arriving 8FC units) you will see the pilots are included for the date the unit arrives in theatre or ones who join before the first mission flown by the unit. If you don't think the data I provide or the points are make are valid or accurate I will bow to your omniscience and await the first beta.

Hard Sarge, Just had a look at the 540 Sqn pilots already included and there are 3 double entries: Reggie Lenton, Malcolm Douglas-Hamilton and an R. Shannon (I've no record of any Shannon with 106 Wg during this period)

Doubles are F/L R.A. Lenton (remove) and F/L Reginald A. Lenton (correct) Sgt R. Shannon x2 (remove both) W/C Lrd Malcom-Hamilton and W/C Douglas Hamilton (should be Lord Malcolm A. Douglas-Hamilton though I know you only have limited room)

Sgt R. Shannon is listed twice with 540 Sqn. I've completely exited the game 4 times and they are there every time. I've just noticed there is no space between the R. and Shannon - R.Shannon. Don't know if that effects the way the editor reads the name.
