I'm Californian with an Alabaman for an aunt. Her food is delicious...but makes me think I'm going to have a heart attack every time I eat it. One time I asked her what ingredients were...wish I hadn't. Crisco, etc. - basically the least healthy, fattiest things you can imagine. I'll eat her cooking once or twice a year though, so it's okay, but I can't help but notice her and her immediate relations are all heavier-set. Probably has something to do with the food.
