CW stratbomb Paris fails Russia finally gets their second attack on the Germans in the south, killing a Rumanian unit. Mar/Apr 42 Axis impulse 2 ( impulse 5 ) Storm arctic, rain temp Germany and Japan land, Italy combined. Italy finds and destroys 2 CW SUBs in Italian Coast and damages a CW Cruiser. Japan takes Singapore and Batavia, enters Wellington in N Zealand. US objects to Singapore's fall.

Mar/Apr 42 Allies impulse 2 ( impulse 7 ) Storm arctic, rain temperate Russia land, rest combined. Only minor readjustments to positions are made this impulse in the bad weather and lack of enough resources in the Med for the CW to do much.

May/Jun 42 Axis initiative, impulse 1 all fine. Germany land, Italy and Japan naval. Japan did not DoW USA, preferring to take a naval action to position its ships and invasion forces knowing that the US has not rebased its fleet to Pearl. The only US SUBs that cold be a problem are in Midway. Germany ground strikes Kalinin - 3 disorganized, Bryansk 1 of 3 disgorged, Kursk 1 of 2 disgorged, and Kharkov 2 disgorged. Germany had fithers in range for any Russian intercepts if needed. The attacks all worked nut Kharkov left 4 German units disgorged. SE of Gomel the sole Russian left in the woods caused a German Div lost and all attackers disorged nut the pesky Russian was destroyed. CW resets their escorts and sends ships and air to W Med. US SUB sinks a Japanese convoy in Bismarck Sea. CW sinks an Italian Convoy in It Coast. Russia rails Krasnodar Factory to the East.

Italy heavy bomber stratbombs Manchester and takes out 2 PP Germany ground strikes Tula and Kursk with no effect. Japan strikes Manila also with no effect. Japan invades the Philippines on both sides of Manila and uses shores support and air help. Germany attacks Kalinin and Kursk

May/Jun 42 Axis impulse 2 The Russian front with the attacks on Kalinin and Kursk shown, both are high odds attacks. Both cities fell but Kursk caused a German Division lost and 6 units disorganized. Given Limited Overseas Supply and Oil, you might be able to keep MacArthur stuck flipped in the Philippines for a very long time; alternatively, you could wait for the end of the impulse, when the Philippines will be conquered, and then the next shatter result will kill MacArthur, since he won't have anywhere to retreat.

July/August 42 Allies initiative Fine weather Russia land, rest combined action. CW fails to find Italians in the Med areas CW stratbomb Essen fails, German AA shot. US invades and takes Kwajalein and Majuro, they were not yet occupied by Japanese troops. CW invades and attacks Cagliari from land using HQ support and Shore bombardment and air cover. Italians fly in supporting bombers and uses defensive shore support. A cw Fighter was lost and the Italian air was aborted with one bomber downed. Cagliari fell to the CW. Russia balances their hold at river and retreat as best they can. The Caucasus defenses are bolstered.

July/August 42 Axis impulse 1 ( iimpulse 2 ) Fine weather Germany land, Italy and Japan combined. Italy suffers a damaged BB in It Coast, CW air remains in place there. Japan invade northern New Guinea coast and reinforces Truk. Germany Ground strikes Moscow, Russian fighter intercepts and German Ftr defends, Russ Ftr downed and German Bomber thru. Strike on Moscow with 6 factor bomber only disorganizes 1 of three units there. Strike South of Ryazan yields nothing and south of Voronesh works in single unit there. The attacks worked well. North of Moscow the advance breaks the north line. South of Ryazan the Russian was only retreated and 4 German units were disorganized, A HQ reorganized key units.
