July/August 42 Axis impulse 2 ( impulse 4 ) Fine Germany land, Italy and Japan combined. Italy attacks in E Med but suffers an Italian Convoy sunk. Fails to find in W Med and sinks 2 CW convoys in N Atlantic. Italy stratbombs Newcastle and knocks out 1 PP. Germany ground strikes NE Moscow 1 of 2 disorganized. Moscow fails to hit any. Voronesh disorganizes 2 of 3 units. Japan reinforces Rabaul and invades Wewak and Lae to take full control of New Guinea

Here are the attacks in Russia in J/A 42 impulse 6 All of them gave German advances in land but at a cost of 2 Russians only shattered and 2 German armor Divs lost and one Inf lost. July/August 42 Allies impulse 4 ( impulse 7 ) Fine CW naval, rest pass only a 20% EOT chance but Russia cannot really run much this impulse anyway. CW sinks Italian Convoy in It Coast CW ground strikes Malta disorganizing one of two units Turn did not end.

July/August 42 Axis impulse 4 ( impulse 8 ) Fine Germany land, Italy and Japan combined. Japan sends SUBs out but gets no results. Italy fails to find the CW forces in Italian Coast. Germany Ground strikes Moscow for the third time and finally disrupts the 2 units that were not disrupted already. German attacks are shown, Russia allocates Ground support to those German Fighters could not reach. The attacks all worked fine this time. If the turn doesn't end, the Russians look to be in trouble if they don't get some defence along the railway between Saratov and Penza. If they don't, it looks like the Germans could easily push east to cut the line. If they do so, the Russians lose most of their oil.

Yes, the Russians are in serious trouble and really need the turn to end. As for their oil, they have a lot of it saved in the Siberian cities and they control both Persia and Iraq and have 4 convoys in the Caspian for emergency transport use.

Not so much of a problem then, although the loss of some 8-9 resources would still be quite a blow to their economy, forcing expenditure of said saved oil unless production is to take a hit.

The Russians are indeed in deep trouble and will have to run eastwards as fast as they can and try to preserve the expensive units, HQ's and armor first. There are a fairly sizable unit defense in the Caucasus mountains.

Japan SUBs sail but all fail to find the enemy Only 1 attack in Russia SE Moscow, storms stops the German advances. Sep/Oct 42 Allies impulse 1 ( impulse 3 ) Storms rain in Med CW combined, US naval, Russia land US Subs in the Pacific fail to find Japanese convoys. CW invades south coast of out of supply Sicily in rain Invasion works with loss of a CW Div and one unit disorganized, An Italian NAV overrun. Japan lands garrison troops to Saipan and other strategic islands. Sep/Oct 42 Allied impulse 2 ( impulse 8 ) Storm and rain US combined, CW and Russia land. Russia wanted an all pass but the CW needed a move in the Med area. Russia Rails the Gorki factory to the east. Turn still ended on a roll of 2 With the weather roll at a +2, the Russiasns are happy for the almost guaranteed bad weather in the East.
